- These are different to any other type of cymbal in that they have a folded back edge portion.
- This shape comes from traditional Chinese cymbals and deliver a particular 'trashy' type of sound.
- Chinese cymbals are used like crash cymbals but have a particular 'dark' flavour. Personally I love them!
- Sizes are similar to crash cymbals 10 - 20" diameter with the standards being in the range 14 - 18inch diameter
