The SnareSide head is only 3-4/1000ths (3-4 mil) of an inch thick.
This drum head is manufactured to be ultra thin in order to be more responsive and sensitive to the vibrations caused by hitting the drum's batter head.
- Do Not strike the snare side head with a stick - you'll kill the head
- Do Not use a batter side weight head on the snare side - you'll kill the sound
- Change your snare side head every 4-5 batter changes - it stretches!
