Crash ride cymbal
Crash Ride Cymbals
These are cymbals that fulfil the dual role of both crash and ride cymbals.
They are usually smaller than traditional ride cymbal but heavier than a standard crash with an accentuated bell. They tend to be used as a secondary timbre to a primary ride cymbal adding extra sound textures and washes to the drummer's palette.
